GEOMET ^®

GEOMET^® is a zinc/aluminium flake coating embedded in a largely inorganic, chromium-free matrix, which we apply using various application techniques. The corrosion resistance is dependent on the applied coating thickness and results from a combination of the barrier effect of the film’s flake structure, the controlled, anodic protection of the zinc and the passivation of zinc and aluminium.
These films can be combined with topcoats to achieve customised solutions in terms of functional properties, friction behaviour and corrosion resistance of the coating.
