Takeover of LISI Automotive BETEO GmbH & Co. KG, Gummersbach, and name change to BENSELER BETO GmbH & Co. KG. By doing so, we are expanding our portfolio in the zinc flake coating process and thread locking area.

 

2017

 
 

Change of name from "BVO" to BENSELER Oberflächentechnik NRW GmbH & Co. KG and relocation to our new plant in Lüdenscheid.

 
 

Founding of corporate subsidiary 3D Laser BW GmbH & Co. KG with 3D Laser in Kirchheim under Teck, and thus entering into additive manufacturing using the SLM process.

Expansion of the process range via cathodic dip coating in a second plant at the Bogen/Niederbayern location.

 
 
 

Dr. Mathias Mühleisen and Thomas Müller have been running the family business together with Managing Partner Birgit Werner-Walz since the beginning of the year.

At the end of October 2015 the BENSELER group took over the Vossloh shares of the company BV Oberflächentechnik GmbH & Co. KG and now owns the company outright.

 

Purchase of 70 % of the shares of the company Prove Tech CZ s.r.o. (Czech Republic) in the deburring field.

2013

The Extension of the production area at the plant in Frankenberg/Sachsen due to a large CDC-coating order for BMWi3.

2012

The Bavarian company Techno Color is renamed as BENSELER Beschichtungen Bayern GmbH & Co. KG.

2011

The BENSELER Group is celebrating its 50th anniversary as a market-leading service provider for surface finishing, coating, deburring, and shaping.

2010

BENSELER returns to its road of success and reaches the 2008 sales level. The Group continues to pursue its strategic realignment. In Frankenberg, the  25,000,000th injector is deburred for the customer Continental.

2009

BENSELER suffers a 50 percent drop in sales due to the global economic crisis. The company reports sales decreases of 30 percent in the year-to-year comparison.

2008

Company shares transferred to the next family generation.

Establishment of an advisory board and Mr. Manfred Werner withdraws from the management of BENSELER Holding after 25 years of activity.

2007

Sale of shares of BENSELER Ontbraamtechniek B. V. to the Dutch partner.

New investment into an additional highly flexible bulk goods plant in  Markgröningen.

Name change from OZF to BENSELER Sachsen.

2006

Fusion of GKB Oberflächentechnik GmbH to BENSELER Oberflächentechnik GmbH.
