Complete solutions under one roof
At our Kornwestheim works a movable car roof system made of magnesium die-cast components is protected against corrosion with a
combination coating of cathodic dip coating and electrostatic powder coating.
Lifesavers for the steering system
DACROMET® or GEOMET® provide the impact decoupling element at the bottom of the steering column with extremely good protection
against corrosion during continuous exposure to high temperatures. We provide this zinc lamella system and Delta MKS in
Markgröningen and Werdohl.
Hand in hand
The hydraulic casing is deburred using the TEM method in Marbach, then partially provided with a DACROMET® anti-corrosion coating
in Markgröningen. It then undergoes ball plug insertion and is thereby extremely resistant to damage during further assembly.
Seamless jigsaw puzzle
A new type of liquid coating permits processing of plastic components of various shapes and guarantees that colours match, for
example on the directly adjacent dashboard components of the BMW Mini.
Highest quality black mirror-finish
The highly decorative B-pillar cladding in the VW Phaeton must exhibit high temperature and chemical resistance. It therefore
undergoes cathodic dip coating and then acrylic powder coating at our Frankenberg site.
In all types of weather
Magnesium die-cast cabriolet roofs are provided with a duplex coating of CDC and power coating at our Kornwestheim works. This
offers protection against corrosion and chips.
Highest quality processing technology
At our Brainkofen site we offer a liquid coating combination of soft coating and mirror-finish: the light shaft screen cover is
lasered during the coating process. The process is carried out on-line, fully climate-controlled and fully automatically,
thereby ensuring economic efficiency and process security.
Aesthetics plus safety
The steering wheel cover, an optical highlight in a metallic look, must not present a risk of injury if the airbag is activated.
The company logo is therefore coated with PVD and a clear coating. Together with the soft coating of the carrier element we
provide a harmonious and complete coating solution in terms of both design and safety at our Bogen site.
Enternity rings
We process the most varied types of pulse ring at our works in Markgröningen: we coat these indispensable components for ABS,
ASR and many other functions with GEOMET® using layer thickness of only 8 µm to provide maximum protection against corrosion.
Internal value
Injector elements for the newest generation of diesel injection systems undergo ECM deburring at our Frankenberg site in such
a way that they can contribute to the environmentally-friendly increase in performance of the latest diesel engines.
